Dancing With Temptation by Dilys J. Carnie
Every once in awhile I break out of my normal patterns and take a chance on an author I've never read before. This is one of those times, and I'm glad that I took the chance. Below is my review of Dancing with Temptation - it is an unbiased and fairly given review.
Dancing With Temptation was my first foray into the writing of Dilys J. Carnie, but I think I might be hooked. As the second installment in the Fitzgerald Brothers series, I could have easily been lost by references to past events or characters, but this author blended the right amount of explanation into the story to make it easy for me to follow the plot. And WHAT a plot!! There were so many layers to the story that I literally read it in one sitting.
The heroine was believable, relatable and someone I could see myself being friends with. Bronwyn was so much stronger than she gave herself credit for, and it was such a pleasure to see Jessie not throw his hands up in frustration every time she attempted to put space between them (literally and figuratively). He was just the right mixture of warm, sexy and smart that you couldn't help but root for him. I'm hooked on the Fitzgerald brothers and Dilys J. Carnie - I can't wait to see where she takes the series next!
